I was wondering if I should split this blog into 2 two blogs, one photo and one other… did the picture spree become overwhelming? Let me know what you think!

Hey, if you’re reading this from an RSS reader or a mobile device, try out coming on the main page from a computer, there’s fresh paint all around and… well… that’s pretty much it… but hey, there’s fresh paint everywhere :]

After realizing that the previous theme was not really suited for single-picture-entries like there will be a lot in the future (well I hope), and after a short tryout with a very minimalistic theme which left me with a strange taste in the mouth last week, here is a new theme for my playground. Way less “free space loss”, a bit warmer to look-at and – I think – a great overview gain.

I am still playing around with Flickr’s auto posting script that kind of doesn’t fit my needs out-of-the-box right now (the picture are either too wide or too narrow and the image links points toward the page of the images, not the images themselves), the Lightbox plugin I was using to display the images as a overlay does not seem to work anymore and there must be a few other features that are broken since I had to modify the template with an axe to display stuff like comments, meta data, links on the titles etc.
